In August, 2023, Q Publishing, Inc. has started new service platform, Global Career Navi, in Japan, which is overseas employment support for young and ambitious Japanese people, who are interested in working overseas in future. 

In the past 15+ years, Japan’s job market has remained relatively stagnant, shifting in focus towards the opportunities outside.  More and more Japanese has been working overseas to seek opportunities and better quality of life.   Recognizing the evolving needs for those who are interested in, the Global Career Navi aims to introduce a platform to empower and connect the next generation with global possibilities, fostering growth and innovation in a changing world.

Global Career Navi services are intended to be only for the people interested in working overseas, and delivered to exclusive sign-up basis. Signed-up members will receive notifications for the events and exclusive tours as well as quarterly publication.

The free sign-up can be done thru web site (http://gcnavi.com) and via Line.

Target Audience:

Young Japanese age between 17 and around 30 years old, who are interested in working overseas in future

Support Services:

Currently, the following services are planned:

  1. Publishing quarterly media, both paper and web, to provide overseas employment information, i.e., visa information. Contents also include the interview with overseas companies who are hiring or intend to hire Japanese nationals as well as Japanese who are working overseas to share their experience and useful suggestions.
    Distribution points are universities nationwide in Japan, English schools and Korean language schools in the suburbs of Tokyo
  2. Seminars & individual advice
  3. Discussion with Navigators
  4. Company visits tour

 

The purpose of the service is

  1. To provide the proper expectations about working overseas, including language level and other necessary skills
  2. To provide the opportunity to meet with company’s human resource members
  3. To provide the opportunity to connect with the Japanese nationals who have been working overseas and get real time information and suggestions

The benefits of this service are to deliver and share the real time information related to working overseas.   At the same time, there are opportunities for the companies who are interested in hiring the prospective Japanese candidates equipped with a global perspective, innovative thinking, and a strong work ethic from a diverse pool. 

This service platform services as a bridge, connecting forward-looking corporations with the untapped potential of Japan’s youth, ensuring a mutually beneficial partnership in a n increasingly interconnected professional landscape.  Also, it would provide the opportunities to advertise about the companies to the selected readers.

This service also includes the interviews with the Japanese who is currently working overseas to share their experiences, mistakes, good-to-have skills as well as quality of life in the specific country, called Navigator.  The readers will have opportunities to roundtable with the Navigators to hear their experience and Q&A for their interests
